Have you’ve ever wondered what the difference is between a bespoke framer, like Pendragon, and a high street framer?
A high street framer will probably have a selection of pre made mouldings and although some can be really good there is a limit on what they can offer.
At Pendragon we make all our own mouldings onsite from FSC Certificated timber merchants.Then we turn the lengths of wood into bespoke mouldings depending on the design of the frame.
When the frames are joined we also have a variety of ways to join such as biscuit joining which celebrates the contrasting hues and grains of the wood.
This is only the beginning of the profusion of choice and possibilities which can designed and handmade by our expert team with total attention to detail.
We can then continue to make our own colours and have a talented team to create paint effects but this is for the next story.
