We can’t quite believe it but it’s been 26 years since Keith Andrews first set up Pendragon Fine Art Frames.

There has been so much change over the years from his first workshop in Laburnum St, off the Kingsland Road in 1994 which used to look out onto the back of the Haggerston Library book store over grown by Hackney’s wildlife consisting of copious amounts of buddleia, ginger cats and all night ravers.

Then as the business grew it was time to move into larger premises in Yorkton St, off the Hackney Road. Formally a reproduction furniture factory typical of the furniture trade going back to the early 19th century it was good to think that because our frames were mainly crafted from wood that Pendragon continued that tradition. Keith and the team lived through the change of the area from manufacturing to designer living where in 2002 all you get was a mug of tea ( very good of course!) to a wide variety of coffees made by skilled barristers from the local cafes.

In 2018 the last move was made to Seven Sisters into a modern warehouse where finally Keith and the team could completely design the layout from the start and are now in the best space for a well honed, bespoke framing business using all the 26 years of experience behind them.

So the down to the Competition!!
