At Pendragon Frames we frame many different kinds of artwork all with their unique challenges. And artwork which uses the medium of a fabric be it a print, embroidery or a tapestry to name but a few is one of them.
Here we have an example of a large piece by Grayson Perry which was framed in a strong and secure tray frame. Over the years we have also framed many of his silk squares which is an obvious way to enjoy his work rather than actually wearing it !
Over the years we have developed techniques that can frame textiles in a sensitive way inline with conservation practice; this has covered a range of fabric orientated work such as delicate textile collage, mimentos, flags, masques, clothing and rugs.
