We have worked with Cornelia Parker almost from the start when Pendragon Frames set up back in 1994. Our workshop was situated in an old clothing factory around the back of Haggerston Library on Laburnum Street, along from the studios where Cornelia was situated at the time.
Since then, we have loved framing her work and have followed all the many variations of her art, whether it needs framing or not!
Her latest works on glass are part of a larger show at Frith Street Gallery titled ‘History Painting’.
Our job was to frame these works on glass, which had been daubed with paint made from pigment that she had made from varying collected elements, including 90 million dinosaur bones. Our clean, light, and discreet box frames helped display these works, enabling the viewer to inspect this mind-blowing concept closer!
