We couldn’t help but notice that 2024 is the year of the Dragon in the Chinese Zodiac.
When Keith Andrews set up he wanted to call his fledgling framing business Pendragon after his love of Arthurian legend. The etymology of Pendragon is ‘an ancient title of a British or Welsh prince with supreme power ‘ …. well he has been using those powers in the workshop creating supremely good frames.
Or if we look at the word ‘dragon’ we find that the european meaning of dragon is ‘firebreathing creating chaos and evil but we much prefer the East Asia meaning which is ‘a beneficient symbol of fertility associated with water and the heavens. we’re going to go with that ….Happy Chinese New Year.
